Basis of the calculations
The U-values in the component finder and the catalogue are calculated to EN ISO 6946, with the timber fraction of stud and rafter layers weighted by area and with the rule for well-ventilated air layers applied. Fire and acoustic ratings are set plausibly for this demonstration and would in reality rest on test certificates. This is not a design under any national building code.
